You Jae Ha Music Contest.

In 11.20 Saturday, I go to the 21st "You Jae Ha Music Contest".

" You Jae Ha " is Korean sing a song writer.

He left many songs like "cause I love you".

Many music critic said " You Jae Ha " is genius.

But in his 26, he passed away.

Musical world of Korea was so sad, and have great pity to lose a "diamond"

So to remember and memorialize You Jae Ha, " You Jae Ha music contest" was made.

Frankly speaking, today Korean music market didn't support sing a song writer.

Markets pursues money, but sing a song writer, and indie musician didn't make much money than Idol.

Market turn away sing a song writer, so sing a song writer have difficult in making album and sing music.

" You Jae Ha music contest" only for sing a song writer.
Many young sing a song writer want to take part in this contest.
Trough this contest, they will show their music to people.
This contest produce many famous sing a song writer.
"Toy - You He Yual", "Jo Kyu Chan", " Sweet Sorrow" etc...

 

This contest has 3 steps.
First preliminary, second preliminary, and final contest.
21st You Jae Ha contest has almost 200 applicants.
Through evaluation, ten teams will go to the final contest.
Final contest have 7 prizes.
Part of Lyrics, compositional technique, singing ability, playing technique, digital music programming and grand pirze.


I think that winning the prize is also important, and meaningful.
Bur Music is not a competition.
Through music musician show their world and listener have sympathy their music so feeling something.
In my case, I feel comport through music.
So Music is meaningful in itself.
I want to say this all the musician.(Especially 21st You Jae Ha contest applicant.)

Ambient sound

Do you know “Ambient"

Dictionary says ambient “The ambient temperature is the temperature of the air above the ground in a particular place”

Hmm…I didn’t fully understand what dictionary telling me.

Anyway, I want to talk about AMBIENT SOUND

When listening music, you can hear deliberate noise.

We think noise means bad, but this noise is not bad but fantastic.

When winds blow then winds make “shh- shh-” sound.

When car runs, there are much “bang” or “bung” sound in the road.

When I was in the mountain, I can hear crickets chipping.

These kinds of sounds add to music.

Then we hear in music some kinds of noise, these noises called “ambient sound”

Ambient sound makes proper mood to melody.

A thousand of tellings are not worth of hearing!

Love Letter

In Saturday night I saw movie “Love Letter”

There are two women.

One is Hiroko, live in Japan Kobe.

She was lost her engagement boy friend in accident.

Another woman is Itski, live in Japan Otaru.

One day Hiroko saw her boyfriend year book.

She found her boyfriend’s old address.

Boy friend’s mom said now that house is disappearing so the address is now non-existent.

Hiroko was always missing her dead boy friend Itski.

So Hiroko send “say hello letter” to Itskt’s old address.

That address is not her dead boy friend address, but another woman Itski’s address.

In the middle school there are two Itski , one Hiroko’s boy friend Itsky another is same mane woman Itski.

So Hiroko found woman Itsky’s address in the yearbook.

Hiroko receive letter from woman Itski, woman Itski.

Hiroko and Itski send each other letters, in the process Hiroko was realize that in the middle school Hiroko’s boy friend Itski love woman Itski.

And man Itski love Hiroko for the reason that Hiroko was similar with woman Itski.

Woman Itski didn’t know that man Itski loved her.

But in the end of the scene woman Itski receive drawing of her.

In the old days man Itski draw woman Itski’s face secretly.

Only then woman Itski realize man Itski’s heart.

It was so sad.

If I were Hiroko, I didn’t forgive man Itski.

While loving me, think of another woman, It was so hurt feeling ;ㅁ;

November is coming!

Today is 2010 10.31!!
Tomorrow is 2010 11.1
To me, October was cruel month.
Always homework, study, test, again homework, study, test...
I really happy to pass the October, but I didn't fell good to coming November.
I think November is similar with October.
Because in December, I also have a final exam.
So I have to a lot of study, and professor also will give me a lot of homework in November.
I have thought that college student have a lot of time to other thing.
Yes, I have a lot of time, but I didn't have time for fun. L
But it's OK.
Because, college student have long long vacation. J
I believe that more I tolerate, more I have a great time in vacation.

UKULELE

Do you know about UKULELE?

It is a instrument seems like guitar.
Left is UKULELE, and right is acustic guitar.
UKULELE makes high, clear sound than acustic guitar.

On weekend I go to the Grand Mint Festival in Seoul Worldcup stadium.

I can learn UKULELE in the GMF!!!

It is easy to learn.
When I  press string on left hand,it takes  cord part.
Code is for example C code, F code...etc.
And I can play on right hand ecpecially index pinger.
UKELELE doesn't need many finger like guitar.
So That's all.
Anybody quickly lenrn UKULELE.
I assure!

UKULELE's sounds is like summer, sea, moldives...
It makes me feel comfortable.
From today I save money,and  later I will bought UKULELE.
Maybe someday....!

terrible day!!

I will tell you about  my terrible day.
when this year march, I go to the Japan with my sister.
We go to the OSAKA, and we have fun in 3 days.
In OSAKA, i bought the tumbler that called SAKURA tumbler.
This tumbler is limited edition.
In Japan, and especially in spring i can bought this tumbler.
SAKURA tumbler little expensive, so to bought this tumbler i didn't buy anything.

Come back to Korea.
One day in first semester, I receive my poor calculus test grade.
Because I was good at calculus, it was disappointing.
Furthermore when someone passed by me, she dropped my tumbler and tumbler was broken.
Actually, I used tumbler until that day just 3or 4 times!!!!
She apologized and said "I will bud another one""
But I was really depressed about my grade, so I annoyed that telling something to her.
So I tell her” No thanks"

These days I regret telling her like that.
I should have told her "Yes, It is star bucks tumbler, here my phone number. Bought another ONE!!!, and call me later"

He is back.!!!
He debut in man duo"panic" in 1995.
Plus he performed in band "GIGS", and another duo"CARNIVAL" with Kim dong rul.
But Lee juck also have solo album.

He releasing his 4th solo album, titled "LOVE"
First track to track number ten was only
"love song".
He said that writing “love song” is very hard because there are too many "love songs" in the world
He puts sincere, heavy, but beautiful love to music.
I like track number 3 "다툼" most.
다툼 means struggle,quarrel,discord...etc.
This song is for old lovers.
As people dated someone so long, they treat someone not delicately.
Because people think that
"We had a lot of time, thus we had a strong bond so that's ok treat each other easily..." or they really have little love to each other...
“다툼” is tells about this condition of lovers.
There is such passage in lyrics.
"Treat each other like stone that eternally not broken."
Listening this song is little bit painful, because it is sad.
But in the end of the song, he tells that but,still I love you.

This song isn't similar with my love story.
Me, and my lover didn't have long time yet.
We often scared, broke heart about little things to each other.
So, I envy people that this song "다툼" was have meaning to them, because they spend a lot of time together so they know each other well.
Irony??

Today's she is on MBC "무한도전", On style "Next

Korea's top model"

She is a Jang yoon ju, a model.

People called she is "body that god made"

She is 171cm that too short to be a model, but she

 has perfect ratio!!

I envy you, yoon ju  :(

She has a lot of talents.

She was a top model, today's be a TV program mc,

and be a cosmetic model.!!

I was so surprised because, SK-Ⅱ that pick her up

as  their model is known that using only top actress

like Jang jin young, kim he ae, Kang su jung...

Today I will telling you about other aspect of her.

She is a great sing a song writer, releasing her debut album in 2008.

I listened her first album "Dream" this year.

Some musician told about her album

"Not Good as a model and musician, But good as a just musician "

"Dream" has a acoustic, and warm pieces like her temper.

I like most 1st tract "29", and 2nd track "April"

Lyrics about "29" was this. Her's complin that be a 29. Isn’t she lovely?

Lemon Lemon Lemon!!!!

Do you heard about lemon juice diet?
I heard this formerly through TV beauty channel. 
This method got famous from Angelina jolie, Beyonce...etc, because they does this.

This method called "Master cleanse"

Instead of meal, drink special lemon juice all day.
 In an instant it heard bad in body, but it wasn’t.
 At first, this program really "DIET" for stomach cancer patients.
 Special lemon juice helps body detoxifying.

 Lately, my face skin was bad :( , because my body had bad things.(Hmm...Maybe?)

Searching internet for detoxification, I stroke on this program.

It's simple to do this.

This program needs maple or nira syrup, lemon, cayen pepper(similar Korean chili powder),and water.

Nira or maple syrup 140ml,lemon juice 140ml,  little cayen pepper, and water 1750ml needs for a day.

 And drink, dirnk, drink when you feel hungry.

The one bad thing in this program is that Nira syrup is expensive!!!
1000ml nira syrup’s cost is at least 90.000won... :(
I can't handle this cost this time, but later I must do this!!!

Grand Mint Festival.

It's end of the summer.
 Soon winds get cold, and trees are getting  yellow.
 It's time to autumn picnic. Do you want go outdoor?

Every autumn in seoul, there's a very pleasant  music festival.
Grand Mint Festival!
Grand Mint Festival is held in October 23,24 at seoul Olympic stadium.
 Many musicians  all around the world congregated in seoul.
Setting the 4 stages in  Olympic stadium, and musician perfomed there.

One musician can perfome 30minutes~1hour.

Compare fetival to person 

JRF is fierce, energetic, enthusiastic, passion people, but GMF is having tenderness,cheerful, warming personality person.

Ticket for one day is 66,000won, and two days 99,000

It was not expesive considering that at least 60 team is joined that festival. 

I saw gmf's line up poster on the school bulletin board.

October 23,24 maybe midterm exam period, but I must go there.

To do that, I have to study hard right now. :(

Here ,look at this. Is'nt she cool?

She is not a model but actress.

But she looks like so...!!

Her name is Diane birch.

Last year she released her debut album "Bible belt" in may.

She was an sing a songwritter.

Her main instrument is piano,and voice.

With husky and cool voice she has crystal clear keybord sounds.
It was really reaaly awesome.

Many people suppose  her album title "Bible biet"was affected by her father, pastor and she was inspired by like pop, world music hearing when traveling aruond the world like africa, austrailia etc in her childhood.
But she said when she was young, she just listen classic and later listened 70,80s classic pop and "Bible belt"was meaning religious restriction to her for religious family.
I was attracted by her not  model student answer.

She has an eye for fashion.

Her mix & match was always  impressive.

But above all things, I was facinated about her music.

Hearing her energitic, swinging music was just like a healing process.

She has also quite,jazzy songs. I love this too.

She visited in korea this summer to join the Jisan rock festival.
I was also joined this festival to see her! to listen her music!
I got her autograph.:) and I gave her korean representative cup ramen "Shin(hot, spicy) ramen"

She said that she likes korea, korean food,enthusiastic korean pan so "definitely not last"(to visit korea).
I hope that she hold concert in korea, asap.
